Things are shaping up nicely for my upcoming writing trip to Los Angeles. The elusive HIT song is within reach and I know that surrounding myself with talent and experience will increase my chances of reaching the goal.
In addition to multiple writing sessions with amazing talent including a Grammy winner, I'll be meeting with a publisher I've been in contract discussions with as well as doing some general socializing with other Toronto writers and industry types who are living out west.
While the LA trip hasn't even come yet, I find myself also looking forward to my Nashville trip this November. Its been encouraging to get some quality referrals to high profile writers in Nashvegas :)
